This resource enables you to understand labour market. The platform provides information about 45 different professional sectors, 190 themed cards, 4600 jobs and about 23000 links to forums, job banks specialised or social media for certain fields.

Helping you in your procedure :

It is a tool that makes an inventory/a list of the most frequent jobs/occupations denominations, analyses activities and skills, brings together jobs according to a principle of equivalence and proximity.

The survey is addressing each year to all DUT, professional bachelor, master 2, bachelor 3 or engineering graduates at the university of Poitiers, without regard of their major or the nature of their training.

This survey aims at :

  • popularize schoolings among a growing audience (high school and university students, employees, unemployed people, companies…).
  • Supply the information medium (national or university websites).
  • Inform the teachers in charge of your schooling about the graduates’ future.
  • Create an inventory of occupations.
  • Contribute to the research for companies that can welcome students in training (internships, contracts, jobs…) or after the training (professional integration).
  • Enlarge the graduates’ network: develop a sense of belonging, favouring the exchanges between former and future graduates, and boost their career.

 

Assessing my experiences and skills and learning a methodology to build or make evolve my personal and professional project, define a strategy and act consequently

Identify, analyse, capitalise and valorise my knowledge, my skills and my experiences while thinking about what I like to do, what motivates me, what are my values. This approach can be lead autonomously but guided through the PEC platform (Experiences and Skills Portfolio).

Presentation portfolio is an annotated and structured collection of the most representative works of the student’s knowledge and skills. At the University of Poitiers, it is promoted by the teachers, the SAFIRE, of by students themselves.

In the context of the ELANS project, the University of Poitiers sets up Open Badges for students. They enable to describe and valorise the skills you developed during your university course. Student can chose to share their Open Badges in order to promote their profile among recruiters or to enter elite pathways for instance.

The “Professional Integration” chapter provides you modules aiming at the promotion of strategies and techniques that might help you in your professional integration process. Being able to write an attractive curriculum or cover letter valorizing your academic and professional experiences or being able to identify your skills in order to define your professional project are basic skills that you need to have and master.

Pix is an online public service meant to evaluate, develop and confirm your skills in computer sciences.

Écri+ : enables to evaluate, develop and confirm your written French skills at the university.

You can meet a professional in guidance during an individual advisory meeting (appointments at the SAFIRE). This process can also be completed by passing a psychometric test, that is fully performed by authorized professionals.

In addition to what is proposed in the training, the SAFIRE offers workshops of simulation exercises and techniques exchanges to boost your applications or access certain specialized resources.
