Doctoral students without a doctoral contract must apply for a student visa. If in doubt, please contact the Euraxess Center in Poitiers.
Please note : A hosting agreement (Convention d’accueil cerfa) is required to obtain a “Talent chercheur” visa. Once completed by the host laboratory, it must be sent to the EURAXESS service center for signature by the President of the University of Poitiers.
The Euraxess portai shows you the formalities depending on your situation: https://www.euraxess.fr/france/information-assistance/entry-conditions-visas
