The International Relations Department of the University of Poitiers has been awarded the EURAXESS service center label for hosting doctoral students, post-docs, researchers, professors and international guests.

This registration will give you a guest researcher card number, which entitles you to various services, negotiated rates and a wealth of practical information. We recommend that you subscribe to our newsletter, which will keep you informed of training courses, webinars and staff-weeks at European level.

This card is free and validated by the EURAXESS Poitou Charentes center.

The Euraxess Portal

It provides international researchers and host laboratories with information on :

• scientific employment, including how to consult or submit job offers and CVs via EURAXESS jobs
• the European charter with the rights and duties of researchers and the code of conduct for the recruitment of researchers on EURAXESS Charter and Code
• interactive web services to maintain contacts between international researchers, as well as information on career opportunities in the USA, India, China, Japan and Europe on EURAXESS Worldwide

The Euraxess Service Centre can help you with :

• Migration formalities (visa, resident permit)
• Social security
• Taxes
• Practical life (information on transport, the Social Security, children’s schooling, discovering the city of Poitiers, etc.).

Upon arrival at the University of Poitiers, international doctoral students and researchers can be welcomed by appointment.
