The University of Poitiers structures its research around five Federative Research Institutes (IFR) to bring together its 37 research institutes, 13 of which are mixed with CNRS or INSERM, with the aim of enhancing visibility and developing more interdisciplinary research (read more).
On September 22nd, 2017, the University board of Governors unanimously approved the adoption of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the recognition of Frascati’s definition for the researcher and for the research community.
The University of Poitiers offers to its social and economic partners the expertise of 16 technological platforms, in order to answer the needs of small- and medium-sized businesses and industries and larger industrial groups as well.
