I am/will be a student on another campus of the University of Poitiers, how can this game concern me?

The tutorial, introduction, and solving of the Circle riddles are done on the Poitiers campus. This campus has the largest proportion of students, and most of the services offered are based on this campus.

The missions of the services represented are to support all students of the University of Poitiers, including those studying in other cities. The information you will find in the game can therefore concern all students.

You will be able to discover the registration procedure and the libraries, to have information on the university restaurants and the student residences, but also on the support services such as the SAFIRE, the Service de santé (Health Service), the Maison des Langues (Languages Centre), or the Service Handicap Etudiants (Department for Disabled Students) which regularly meet students from all the campuses.

In addition, it will be an opportunity to get an overview of the campus you want to discover. You can also be redirected to virtual visits of buildings, restaurants and halls of residence attached to all campuses.

How long does it take to finish the game?

To complete all the objectives, get all the keys to the Circle, and solve all the puzzles on all the campuses, it takes about 1.5 hours.

Why do some buildings not appear on the map ?

We have chosen to show only the resource services at the beginning of the university year for new students.

The course buildings and research buildings are not shown so as not to overload the amount of information in the game.

I would like to virtually discover buildings that are not in the game

You can of course visit the university’s and each training’s website to find out more.

Virtual visits have also been made by the CROUS to discover the residences and restaurants. You can also discover in the same way: the Valois campus in Angoulême, the Hôtel Fumé, and the IAE of Poitiers.

Finally, the UnivPoitiers mobile application has an “itinerary” function, linked to Google Maps, which you can use to find your way around the campus.

The game does not work on my iPhone

The application is not available on the AppStore and is not compatible with iOS.

However, it is possible to play on all computers (Windows, iOS, Linux). Computers are available in the university libraries if needed.

How do I zoom on the screen?

There is no zoom function in the game, however, you can use the Windows or iOS magnifier to enlarge the screen.

Where is the university accessibility information in the game ?

You can find information about the accessibility of buildings on the icon on the right of the campus map. It shows whether the building has a lift, automatic doors, a ramp, etc. This is useful for people in wheelchairs, but also for those carrying heavy loads, suitcases or using crutches.

In most services, you will find specific information on inclusion and accessibility of these services in the icon at the top right of your screen.
