L’université de Poitiers, en collaboration avec le Groupe Coimbra, organise un Workshop sur les Learnig analytics le 30 mars 2023 à Poitiers. Le but de cet évènement est de créer une discussion entre partenaires européens sur les différents sujets relatifs au leaning analytics et comment ils peuvent être utiliser pour améliorer l’engagement et le succès des étudiants. Ce workshop est co-organisé par le NCU ELANS (un projet sur 10 ans pour promouvoir la réussite académique des étudiants de premier cycle à l’université.)

The University of Poitiers in collaboration with Coimbra Group organise an international workshop on Learning Analytics the 30th of March 2023 in Poitiers. The goal of this workshop will be to discuss among european partners on different topics related to Learning Analytics and how it can be used to improve the engagement and success of students. This workshop is co-organized by NCU Elans (a 10 years project to promote academic success for undergraduate students at the university).

Biography of panelists:

Samuel Greiff is head of research group, principal investigator, and Full Professor of Educational Assessment and Psychology at University of Luxembourg. His research focuses on educational psychology, psychological assessment, personality psychology, cognitive psychology, and psychological methodology. He also takes strong interest into the use of log file data and learning analytics for summative and formative assessment purposes. He and his team are dedicated at increasing the understanding, the measurement, and the application of cognitive and non-cognitive skills that shape our lives.

Prof. dr. Airina Volungevičienė has been working among leading researchers, methodology specialists and education policy makers in the area of technology enhanced learning (TEL) development in Europe and Lithuania since 1997. Her main concern at Vytautas Magnus University is to direct Institute activities to implement its mission: to advise University teachers to design distance learning and teaching curriculum. She is involved in EDEN Governance since 2009, as the Board member, Vice President for Research (2016 – 2019) and the President (2016 – 2019).

Robert Malek is the Data Protection Officer from the Institut Mines Telecom and member of SupDPO association regrouping the french DPO of higher education institutions and universities.

Yves Deville is a professor at the Louvain School of Engineering and a member of the Institute for Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM). His teaching and research focus on computer science, artificial intelligence and optimisation. Since 2014, Yves Deville is the Senior advisor to the President of UCLouvain for the Digital University and Open Science.

Christine Jacqmot is project leader in the Louvain Learning Lab. PhD in Applied Sciences from the Louvain School of Engineering, her interests cover the quality of teaching and student learning as well as pedagogical innovation, including technologies to support teaching and learning. Since 2015, she has been leading institutional projects at UCLouvain, among which the deployment of  Digital University of UCLouvain (Open Education and Open Science).
