Every year nearly 28,000 students choose the University of Poitiers for their studies. The University of Poitiers, Poitiers CROUS, the local authorities and the various associative and cultural actors will be happy to welcome you during the “mois d’accueil” (Student Induction Month).
The Student Induction Month offers events during the month of September in Poitiers. There are similar induction programs in Niort (the “Niorstu’days”) and in Angoulême (the “Angou’Mois Étudiants”).
The Induction Month is intended to help students discover, meet and exchange in a joyful, curious and creative fashion alongside institutional actors, local associations and Poitiers inhabitants. Many surprises and free activities are organized each autumn: the association and cultural forum, JAVA’s, shared evenings and meals, welcome job, concerts, Color Campus, “Le Circuit” festival and the culture card… and many more cultural and festive appetizers!
One whole month to make it easier for you to discover the city and its campuses, so that you too can become a fully-fledged resident of the town.
