Do you need a laptop to write a thesis, study in the library or do research? Students can borrow a computer from the University of Poitiers free of charge.

To book a computer, go to your digital working environment (“ENT”), under the heading “Practical life” (“Vie Pratique”). After booking you can collect the laptop from one of the lending counters.

Please note! When you go to borrow a computer for the first time you must provide the following documents:

• Photocopy of ID or passport;
• Photocopy of student card;
• Proof of insurance guaranteeing risks incurred when borrowing a laptop

You must follow the lending counter schedule in order to allow reconfiguration of the laptop before borrowing.

100 laptops or notebooks are available to borrow.

60 days

Each student enrolled at the University of Poitiers has a 60-day laptop borrowing credit valid for the entire academic year. For scholarship students, this credit is extended to 90 days. Please note: a loan can only be made for a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
